Asia-Pacific Alliance of Rare Disease Organisations (APARDO)
Asia-Pacific Alliance of Rare Disease Organisations (APARDO) is a collection of patient advocate leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region representing rare diseases and rare cancers bound together with the goals of not only providing a forum for sharing experiences and learning, but also increasing rare disease patients' voices and addressing priority issues.
Within my company, Cardinalis Pte. Ltd, I assist APARDO in graphic design, website and social media management.
Events
Pinnacle is a Rare Cancers Australia initiative with support from APARDO and IQVIA. Patient organisations from across Asia participated in the engaging and interactive workshops, learning about the latest developments and best practices in a multitude of fields and topics.
APARDO had requested support on this event and I took part as a photographer and videographer. The highlights video I produced was highly praised by both APARDO directors and the Rare Cancers Australia team.
APARDO held its first in-person conference since 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. I provided events management support and graphic design services for their marketing collateral - producing email marketing content, posters, standee, agenda, nametags, certificates, t-shirt and lanyard designs.
The event was highly successful and praised by APARDO, the attending patient organisations and the industry partners.
